More Than a Christmas Gift: A Little Fun, a Little Thought, a Lot of Heart

At My Happy Cookie, every idea begins with a question: What will this gift bring to the person receiving it?

Of course, we want them to enjoy the cookies. But we also want to create something that invites a little interaction, brings people together, or remains useful long after the last cookie is gone. To us, gifting is about the moments a gift creates—even beyond the occasion it was bought for.

A gift that starts a moment together

Our festive tic-tac-toe concept grew from that thought. A little friendly competition, a pause between conversations, a reason to sit down and play together—sometimes, the simplest things make a gathering memorable.

With a wooden board and Santa and wreath playing pieces, the game can continue after the cookies have been shared. Our Christmas Checkers Gift Set brings that same spirit of play, with Christmas tree and gingerbread-man pieces for another friendly challenge.

We love the idea of a gift that gives its recipient something to do and enjoy, alongside something delicious to share. It makes the experience feel more personal, whether you’re gifting family, thanking a colleague, or surprising a friend.

The thought behind each set

Bringing a concept together takes more than choosing cookies and finding a box.

There is research, sourcing, and careful consideration of how each part works together. We think about how the gift will be opened, how it will be enjoyed, and what makes it meaningful or useful to its recipient. The packaging, the cookies, and the experience all have a part to play.

That is the craft behind our gifting collections: taking an idea and thoughtfully putting the whole experience together.

Back for another Christmas

Last year, a delayed shipment meant we could offer only a limited number of our Christmas sets. We were disappointed that more people didn’t get the chance to enjoy them.

This year, our festive tic-tac-toe and Christmas sets are available again, and we’re looking forward to sharing these ideas with more of you.

Find a little happiness for your recipient

• Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe Gift Set: a wooden game board with Santa and wreath pieces, plus one packet of 20 cookies in your chosen flavour.
• Christmas Checkers Gift Set: a festive wooden checkerboard and playing pieces, with two packets of 20 cookies and one flavour choice per packet.
• Christmas Advent Train: a cheerful Christmas countdown with 24 assorted cookies.
• Joy to the World: a festive gift box with two small bottles of cookies.
• Christmas Sleigh Gift Set: a decorative sleigh and candle holder, a bottle of red wine, and a large bottle of cookies with a gift box—a festive choice for an adult recipient.

Whether you’re planning a playful family gift or a thoughtful festive thank-you, we hope you’ll find something that brings joy beyond the moment of unwrapping.
